Flowers : White on White

One of the challenges of the "White on White" project was achieving compositional simplicity. My goal was to create images that are visually austere - but do so without going completely abstract. So my goal was to make my composition as close to perfect as possible, in order to lure the viewer into admiring shapes, textures and unique features of each flower.

The project was awarded Silver Gilt Medal at the RHS London Shades of Autumn Show 2013.
